Volunteering

Volunteering at Kennington Memory Club will really help make a difference to the lives of those living with dementia and their families and careers.

We will arrange for all our volunteers to have a DBS check and provide safeguarding and dementia awareness training for all our volunteers.

Memory Club Volunteer

Are you a kind, caring and adaptable person? Are you looking to become a volunteer to provide support for people living with Dementia? Why not come along to Kennington Memory Club? We are looking for volunteers on Mondays and Thursdays between 9.00 am and 4.00 pm.

The role requires the use of  car, first for collecting the hot meal cooked in St Swithun’s School kitchens, and afterwards for returning the empty containers. In between help is appreciated with serving ,chatting with members,  clearing tables and washing up


Memory Club Lunchtime Helper

We are looking for people to specifically help out over lunchtime between 12.00 am and 2.00 pm. We offer our members the choice of ordering a hot meal supplied or bringing their own food.

The role requires the use of  car, first for collecting the hot meal cooked in St Swithun’s School kitchens, and afterwards for returning the empty containers. In between help is appreciated with serving ,chatting with members,  clearing tables and washing up.

Occasional Volunteers

Occasional volunteers with specialist skills and talents such as music would be most welcome.
